Empowering girls; empowering women

The basis for Fematalk was created in April of 2022, when we gathered a group of girls at our school and taught them what we knew about public speaking. Not only did we help them learn the technicalities of public speaking, but we also helped them find their voices through interactive activities. In our last session, each girl was able to give an eloquent and inspirational speech about a woman they admired. We saw the positive impact our program had, and we decided to spread our knowledge and expertise to benefit other young girls who want to become more confident.

And thus, Fematalk was born.

Meet the Team

Operations Manager and Course Instructor

Wiktoria B

Hi, my name is Wiktoria and I'm the founder of Fematalk. I manage the whole operation and I boss the team around :) I've been debating for 6 years, and I once gave a speech in front of 500 people about morality! I've got tons of experience in public speaking, and my team came first at 3 debating competitions, including an international round.

Our team has tons of speaking experience, so you're in safe hands if you decide to join this course!

A fun fact about me is that my first draft of my GCSE speech was 34 minutes long!!!

Marketing and Communications Manager

Diana V

Hi, I’m Diana and I am one of the communications managers for this course. I help run the social media and communications, and I have had previous experience as a speaker for Toastmasters!

I’m also a GCSE business student and I won my school's Highest Achiever Award for Business, so I'm great at managing the promotional and marketing aspects of Fematalk.

This course is a passion project for all of us and you’d genuinely have the best time if you join! Plus it looks good on your university applications ;)

Khwaaish K

Hey! My name's Khwaaish and I’m one of your instructors for this course. I’ve been practicing public speaking since I was a little kid and I’d love to extend some of my knowledge! Recently, I completed my GCSE English Speaking Exam, I spoke about the education system and why it’s flawed! It’s a topic I’m super passionate & knowledgeable about and taught me a lot about public speaking.

Fun fact about me is that I‘m a grandma at heart and run my own crochet side hustle called dxbknits where I sell handmade goods!

I’m definitely the coolest instructor and I’ll make sure you find this course enjoyable :)

Communications Manager and Course Instructor

Emma T

Hello! My name is Emma and I am a manger and instructor for this public speaking course. I will be teaching the course alongside others and help to manage our project. If you email us, I'll probably be the one replying :)

I am a GCSE student and I have previous experience regarding debating and public speaking, and teaching this to younger students in school. I led my school's public speaking for girls ECA with Wiktoria and Khwaaish.

Fun fact, like Diana, I also study business and I have straight 9s!
